2013 McLaren 12C GT Sprint



The British sports car manufacturer McLaren new super sports car, the "12C GT Sprint" makes its debut in Goodwood.

The GT Sprint is intended to bridge the gap between the standard model (12C) and the 12C GT3 race car and 12C GT Can-Am Edition models. The GT Sprint itself retains many unique system from which it based of, the 12C road car.

The T Sprint features ProActive Chassis Control, (PCC), Brake Steer and the latest model of McLaren Airbrake, which makes the GT Sprint a nice choice for racing experience while also retaining the balance and precise characteristic of the 12C road car. 

In addition, the 12C GT Sprint has been upgraded with a modified lubrication and an optimized cooling system. The electronically controlled suspension (ESP) has been retuned , the ride height was lowered by 40 millimeters at the same time. The vehicle dynamics including ESP system can be adjusted in several steps.

Meanwhile, the exterior of the 12C GT Sprint provides us with an enlarged side air intakes and a new front hood which acts as a cooling system of sort. On the interior, we have a FIA-approved rollcage and integrated fire extinguisher system. A fully adjustable HANS-approved, lightweight composite racing seat fitted with full six-point harness and a lightweight version of air conditioning system for added comfort.
