Mazda MX-5 GT ready to dive in the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship 2011. Mazda MX-5 GT will be against Aston Martin, Porsche, Lotus, and BMW in the championship.
With a weight of only 850 kg, Mazda MX-5 GT can accelerate from 0-100 kpj in 3 seconds and able to penetrate 260 kpj. Jota Sport, engineering team, pulled off a variety of components for cars to be much lighter than the standard version (approximately 1.1 tons).
Jota Sport took over 400 hours to build the shell of the MX-5 GT for 17 times more powerful than the recommended FIA.
Engine parts including lowered position, suspension, and transmission of experience adjustments. MX-5 GT engine spewing power 275 hp. 6-speed sequential transmission, operated via paddle-shift, carbon doors, and windows Polycarbonate become features MX-5 GT.
MX-5 GT will be driven Mark Ticehurst, a Mazda driver, and Owen Mildenhall who works as a journalist Auto Express and rider.
