Advanced Initial reports show a Mazda 6 with minor aesthetic touches to further strengthen its already sporty appearance. These changes are both the European variants of body: sedan and wagon. With respect to the carrier, the Japanese say they have taken special care to offer a much more refined interior and higher perceived quality.

The highlight of the mechanical section of this 'restyling' of the Mazda 6 is found in a new 2.0 DISI petrol engine that will replace the current 2.0 liters. The new Mazda 6 2.0 DISI combined with a gearbox five-speed automatic. The gasoline supply is rounded to 1.8 liters and 2.5 liters.

For those who prefer diesel, for this update of the Mazda 6 will be available the known motor MZR-CD 2.2 turbodiesel with three power levels between 129 and 180 hp. In USA only continue to offer the 2.5 engine or 3.7 V6, unchanged.

The chassis of the Mazda 6 also has several modifications, changes still has not specified the signing Japan. In the section on safety, this car will feature a new adaptive lighting system, and a start assist device on slopes, although these are already in the American car.
