2011 Land Rover DC100 Sport Concept

There are some surprises at the IAA. We already knew that Land Rover would present the concept DC100. Land Rover chose however to release all images in advance, so no one speculated on the possible shape. This Land Rover is both a closed and an open version of their stand already, some may be called surprising. The cars are equipped with all amenities, include a system to identify off-road obstacles.

The DC100 Sport is based on the Defender first with their soft top and folding windshield. The side windows are truncated to an open-top driving.

In its metallic yellow livery, the Englishman is perched on 22-inch wheels. It differs from the classic look of Land Rover and is presented as a variation more performance-oriented, with a plunging front profile.

On board, the leather is supplied by Bridge of Weir, a Scottish company to 97% self-sufficient, the tone is set, the legendary Defender began to turn a greening.
