2012 Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe

With the arrival of 2012 cut the C-Class is something else. Senior management Stuggart understood that any self-respecting manufacturer can ignore a category. For now, competition in the category of cars and luxury brands is on a global scale.

In order compete with cars such as BMW 3 Series and Infiniti G37, Mercedes-Benz therefore proposes the C-Class Coupe, which comes in three versions: C250, C350 and AMG 6.3. Since the latter model is truly in a class by itself, we will evaluate the first two versions to spend another text AMG model.

As for the design, the designer decide to give the Mercedes-Benz a long hood and a short rear section. also, the front and rear door are very small, giving it a quite sporty look. The C250 and C350 versions have grilles made of two horizontal bars on which hangs in the center of the legendary silver star. This is of high dimension and is based on that used on the SLS, which has become an anthology car after less than two years on the market.

The side walls have raised wheel arches, a sculpted lower body and upper part of the side wall there is a vanishing point line that goes to the back. To comply with the aerodynamics, the windshield is steeply raked roof while the ends of the start of the chest that is relatively short. The large mirrors can easily overcome an inner rear visibility limited.

And as for the performance, The C-Class offer these powertrains : the C350 has a 3.5-liter V6 producing 302 horsepower while the AMG version is powered by a thundering V8 6.2 liter 451 horsepower. In comparison, the four-cylinder C250 is almost the poor relation. But that doesn't mean it is inferior to the other two.

This 4-cylinder turbocharged 1.8-liter C250 and the team must concede a deficit of 99 horsepower from the V6, but do not be fooled by the numbers: Despite the lower power, a version powered by the 4-cylinder capable of 0-100 km / h in 7.2 seconds, 1.2 seconds more than the C350 V6.
