2011 JM Cardesign BMW Z4 E85

Although the just described spontaneous degradation as a first-generation BMW Z4 is probably rather below average, JM Cardesign from Bergheim did with the E85 roadster shown here a very special kind of facelift.

Namely the old Z4 fit the receiver to the front of the new model E89. To this end, the front bumper and grille of the modified specially handcrafted for the interaction with the headlights, the fender and the hood of the E85.

Classic craftsmanship turned JM Car Design in the area of the rear wheel arches on. These have been widened in the sheet by about 30 millimeters on each side, the wheel arch and then rebuilt in the original new look. Of course, had to be adapted for such a broadening of the rear bumper and side skirts to the new realities.

Plenty of depth and a crisp dynamic performance in various parameters (height, compression and rebound damping) adjustable Variant 3 KW coilover suspension. Then come the three-piece bolted Work VS-XX-alloy wheels with stars in matte gunmetal best advantage, in the front of size 9 × 20 inch ET32 and come back even in rich 11 × 20 inch ET32 used.

The tires were fine-Wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx high-performance tires in size 245/30R20 and 285/25R20. For more rigidity in the long front of the car under the hood was also a Wiechers strut brace installed. Eisenmann muffler with a 76-millimeter twin tailpipes underlines the robust 6-cylinder Z4 3.0i of the sound clearly audible.
